I get excited about meeting new people and learning who they are. My wife and I travel with the intention to experience different cultures, build new relationships, and cultivate memories simultaneously.

My attitude when working is "What do you need, and how can I help?" Looking towards the other rather than how I can build myself up - this applies for work relationships or formal projects.
Learning from the world
I believe you can't find all of your ideas or perspectives confined in your comfort zone at home. Exposing yourself to the world and the outdoors can broaden your understanding of others and your view of life. You may just thank yourself later - you never know what you're going to be exposed to.
How it's applied when working
I look for ways to become uncomfortable when designing, to broaden my experience and knowledge of how to cater for different user groups and their needs.
